Science, Faith and Beyond

Exploring Big Questions with Young People

Welcome to the website of the Youth and Schools team at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion. We love to encourage and equip children, young people, and their influencers, to explore their big science-religion questions.

Welcome to our hub for educators!

This site aims to provide support and material for anyone engaging with young people and their questions about science, religious faith and more. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, youth worker, religious leader, event speaker, online influencer or anyone else with influence in the lives of children and young people, this site is for you!

Explore the site to find information about the sessions we can run with young people, and the training we offer for teachers, trainee teachers, church workers and budding science-religion communicators. You will also find a collection of resources we think may be helpful and/or interesting for you as you think about communicating with young people about science and religious faith.

If you are interested in material directly for young people then please take a look at our ‘Faraday Kids‘ pages (for ages 2-11) or our ‘Faraday Teens‘ pages (for ages 11-18).

We hope you will feel encouraged and equipped to support the young people around you as they consider how both science and religious faith can help people explore their big, important questions.
